WALT:Write a procedure

Aim/purpose: To make a D.I.Y stress ball out of slime.

Materials: *Balloons
                 *Borax
                 *PVA glue
                 *Food colouring
                 *Large mixing bowl
                 *Teaspoon
                 *Warm water
                 *Cup
                 *lotion

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl add a bottle of PVA Glue into the bowl.
2. In a cup add borax in warm water and stir with a teaspoon until it is disolved.
3. Put a teaspoon of disolved borax in the glue.
4. It should turn out to a slime texture but if it is still sticky, add another teaspoon of borax to it. If it is getting to the point to coming off your hands, do not put another teaspoon of Borax in. And with hand lotion and put a couple squirts of lotion in about (4 or 5) once it feels like slime it is stretchy,pokable the slime is finished. Now get a ballon and just stretch it before you start. Then with the slime just push it in the ballon when the slime is in the ballon you tie the ballon up.

Outcome: Congratulations u made a D.I.Y stress ball out of slime.

 AMERICA

A couple years ago I went to my country AMERICA. On a Friday. so when I went to America I met a lot of people.  Before we start on my trip to America I'm going to talk a little bit about myself. So I am actually halve American halve Polish and quarter Maori.

Now let's get on to it. So it started when I was 6. First we went to my great grandma who lives there. Ah bonus tip all my cousins, aunts, great grandma live in America so I don't see my cousins, aunts and great grandma very much. Maybe every 7 years or so.

Then I saw all my cousins. It was my first time seeing them. So I got to meet them. They are so nice and friendly.

Then we went to DisneyLand my favourite ride was all of them I can't name 1 they were all so fun.

The next day we went out for breakfast I got strawberry pancakes with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was so good. And Ju my sister got wedges and Mike the same thing as me strawberry pancakes with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

At 12:00 we sadly had to leave.We were all sad,we had to leave. Also we looked on the bright side it was so fun living in America seeing my Uncles Great  grandma and all my Cousins. And my friends that I met I needed to leave behind.

Then finally we arrived home on Sunday from a long trip.

Technology

For the last 3 terms room1 have been doing technology. The yr7s are doing Plastics and the yr8s are doing Cooking. It has been a good inspirations for the year 7s because they have learnt plenty already  and they just started technology this year. But exciting news for the year7s next term they are doing cooking next term.

They are very excited about cooking because we get to eat stuff and make stuff which is very exciting to us and our family's 

                       

                                                                     Class captain
Intro: I think we should have a class captain because it would be nice to have another person to respond to and look up to.

Argument1: A class captain would make sure everyone was happy and a good role model to everyone.  If u have a problem
 you could ask for their help when the teacher is not there.
And when u don't have someone to play with you, until you have someone to play with.

Argument2: They could help u with a math problem in their spare time, when the teacher is busy. And they could plan a fun thing like a game,obstacle course or silent ball.

Conclusion: I think we should have a class captain because it would be nice to have someone to go to besides the teacher

refugees

  Refugeees 

Boom! Crashed! Blood splatters over my window. My mum rushed to the door. It was on Saturday night. I was so scared and frightened,like a tornado blowing up right next to us!

My name is Roszy. I have blazing,glooming blue eyes. I am the oldest child of four sisters. Zoe,Bella,Lotty and saskia. Zoe is 10,Bella is 12,Lotty is 13,Saskia is 8 and I am 14. When the bomb hit my sisters and I with my mum were not refugees. My mums name was Elizabeth.

We walked to a bunch of tents. We had no water or food. When the tornado arubted saskia was bursting in tears.             The End
